Bill has worked in water engineering for more than 40 years. In 2019, he developed the Tube Fishway with Dr. John Harris: a new type of fishway designed to lift attract and then lift fish safely over high (>50m) barriers. After demonstrating effective attraction and safe transport of three species, they are now undertaking trials of its application to fish communities in the field.
