The Northern Territory Fisheries Division manages wild harvest, aquaculture, and aquatic biosecurity through science-based research, policy, and planning. We work with Aboriginal groups, industry, and the recreational and tourism sectors to ensure the sustainable use of aquatic resources while supporting economic growth and cultural inclusion. Through partnerships we help develop new seafood products and support community-led businesses. From on water research to long-term strategy, we’re proud to work with Territorians to secure a sustainable and successful future for the NT’s aquatic industries.
